General

Ordnance Survey's Explorer Maps are highly regarded by walkers, climbers, mountain bikers, and outdoor professionals for their exceptional detail and clarity. Designed at a scale of 1:25,000, these maps provide extensive coverage of Great Britain, with each grid square assigned a unique reference number for easy navigation. They showcase a wealth of features, including areas of interest, picnic spots, campsites, and National Trails, as well as comprehensive information on National Parks and Rights of Way in England and Wales.

Upon receiving your paper map, you can conveniently download the electronic version for your iOS or Android device using the Ordnance Survey's OS Maps app. To access the download, simply use the unique code hidden under the scratch-off panel on the inside cover. Please note that once this code is revealed, returns or exchanges of the map will no longer be accepted, although this does not affect your statutory rights.
