Description

General

Ordnance Survey's Explorer Maps are highly regarded for their unparalleled detail and clarity, making them ideal for walkers, climbers, mountain bikers, and outdoor enthusiasts who require precise navigation. Featuring a 1:25,000 scale, these maps provide extensive details, with each area of Great Britain assigned a unique reference number using the National Grid system. The maps showcase a wealth of features, including points of interest, picnic areas, campsites, and National Trails, as well as important information about National Parks and Rights of Way in England and Wales.

The Active version of the map is specially coated with a durable, weatherproof plastic, allowing for easy folding and convenient storage in your pocket or rucksack. Upon receiving your paper map, you can also download an electronic version for your iOS or Android device using the OS Maps app. To access the download, simply reveal the unique code located behind the scratch-off panel on the inside cover. Please note that once the code is uncovered, the map cannot be returned for a refund or exchange, which does not affect your statutory rights.
